Will this fit my trailer?

Can this gearbox lift a loaded trailer?

Absolutely! Lifting heavily loaded trailers is where the Trailer Gearbox shines. If you need to unhitch your trailer with a load on it, make sure to take the proper safety precautions and ensure your trailer will be stable when unhitched.

What if I forget a Drill or my battery dies?

We recommend storing your original jack handle in your trailers toolbox or your tow vehicle. If you ever end up without your drill or a charged battery, its as easy as removing the clevis pin sliding off your gearbox and pining your old handle back on. While not as fast or easy it will get you out of a pinch.

Can't i just weld a socket to my jack?

You can weld a socket onto your jack-but you won’t get the benefits of a Trailer Gearbox. That setup creates a direct-drive system, and most drills simply don’t have enough torque to lift even an empty trailer without gear reduction.

To compensate, many people turn to heavy-duty impact drivers. The problem is, trailer jacks aren’t designed to handle constant hammering, and it’s only a matter of time before something fails.

Even then, you’re still limited on torque when lifting a loaded trailer.
